Your mission
In this role you will become an integral part of our software team developing SaaS solution that support satellite operators in mission-critical tasks. Crucial services like in-orbit collision-risk assessment require processing of large amounts of data and a high degree of responsiveness. This role has a significant DevOps part required. So we are looking for someone improving our software but who is able to also manage and deploy that software and the required infrastructure. In particular, you will:
- infrastructure architecture design and development (up to 40% of role, e.g. provisioning and management as well as CI/CD). Example tasks:
- Create a continuous pipeline that compiles, checks and verifies our software for embedded systems (software that will run on the satellite).
- Further develop and maintain the infrastructure to run our services (see below for tech stack)
- design and develop micro services (not always so micro) for a scalable, responsive and web-based platform
- take ownership of features from design to operation
- take responsibility for fast and robust system and algorithm design to enable large-scale data processing.
- produce efficient, documented and tested code
- be scouting trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our services
- work closely with our astrodynamics team to better understand the domain and algorithms.
- this role involves up to 30% DevOps (you build it you run it).
